DevOps Engineer

Get Ready To

  • Manage, maintain and develop infrastructure and services of Aardvark products.
  • Provision new infrastructure and automate infrastructure provisioning when expanding the platform.
  • Manage infrastructure growth while maintaining zero-downtime.
  • Work on large scale deployments pushing technologies to the limits.
  • Continuously improve platform monitoring system, to get accurate reports and prevent outages before they happen.
  • Investigate production issues, write post-mortem reports and take steps to prevent it from happening again.
  • Work closely with development team to continuously improve fault-tolerance and availability of our products.
  • Create deployment playbooks for new services that are being developed.
  • Assist development team with tools, deployments and dev/test environments.

You'll Be Great At This If You

  • Have experience with Linux system administration and shell scripting.
  • Have hands-on experience with MariaDB/MySQL, Ansible, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
  • Are highly attentive to detail.
  • Understand how web services work.
  • Have a solid understanding of web fundamentals, including TCP/IP networking, DNS, HTTP, and related technologies.
